SAFE — Realtime Damage Manager and Decision Support was funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region through the POR FESR programme and ran from 2020 to 2022.
The project developed a digital twin and decision-support system for assessing damage to passenger ships in real time. IOLab led the automated-reasoning activity, working with Maritime Technology Cluster FVG, Cetena/Fincantieri, Arkitech, Lloyd’s Register EMEA, and SISSA MathLab.
