Tommaso Urli, former member of the Lab, will give a plenary lecture at the PhD Conference in Industrial and Information Engineering. He will speak about his current work as an optimization scientist at Satalia Ltd.

Renowned researcher and expert in the field of Complex System Science, Andrea Roli, will be delivering an exclusive course titled “Introduction to Complex System Science” at the University of Udine. The course, primarily designed for PhD students specializing in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, will also be open to other students who wish to expand their knowledge in this interdisciplinary domain.

The Scheduling and Timetabling (i.e., SaTT) Research Group has become the Intelligent Optimization Laboratory as an initiative funded by the Interdipartimental University Strategic Plan In Artificial Intelligence at the University of Udine.

The SaTT Group has received a grant (121.046 euros) from the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research (MIUR) under the PRIN (Research Projects of National Interest) 2020 programme, for the project “Models and algorithms for the optimization of integrated healthcare management”.
