Francesca Da Ros is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centro di Riferimento Oncologico di Aviano (CRO) and a research collaborator at IOLab. She earned a PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Udine in 2026 with the thesis Chronicles on Metaheuristic Optimization: Components, Applications, and Large Language Models. Her research concerns explainability, reproducibility, and comparability in combinatorial optimization metaheuristics, with applications to emergency service management.
